We are pleased to be able to present a new project to you - one that is funded by the Federal Ministry of Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth. Through our umbrella organisation, the
djo - German Youth in Europe, we can realise this programme for you and our common social space.
When does it start?
Right away!
You are the participants!
With the Federal programme ‘People Strengthen People’, our supporting organisation is also actively involved in contributing social cohesion and strengthening the opportunities for participation in Germany. So, if you’re wondering: ‘What do they mean by that, exactly?" below, you will find the most important facts that we have compiled for you. This way, you can participate directly and become the most important participants of this programme:
What is it all about?
We can all see that people are currently being excluded from social processes and the active participation in society because of their personal situation, social status or origin. That could, for example, be the family in which the parents are too busy working shifts to be able to spend enough time with their children. You can stop this process in your immediate environment and bring society back together.
What can you do?
By assuming sponsorship for children and/or families, you become a volunteer in your social environment. In doing so, you actively support children and families.
How does that work exactly?
You are the shapers and can approach it in your own individual ways. No matter whether it is educational sponsorship, shared recreational activities such as cooking or visits to the cinema, theatre, zoo, museum, a stroll through the Christmas market or support in everyday life and dealing with the authorities, almost anything is possible.
The Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth supports the implementation of these activities with funding. Simply talk to us about it so that we can discuss the planning of the funds and their implementation with you.
Is there a lot of bureaucracy?
No. The entire programme is set up in a straight forward manner.
Sponsorships are concluded in the form of Sponsorship Agreements. These form the basis for any funding. At the same time, you submit an expanded certificate of good conduct.
Should you have any further questions, we will gladly help you as your point of contact.
